Presenter Video is a highly effective but economic way of having a new or existing video presented by a professional presenter.

Using green screen technology, the presenter is filmed in the studio delivering your script. Special software then removes the green screen backdrop leaving just the presenter. In the edit suite, the presenter video can then be placed at any point over existing video, animations, and images or in a virtual news studio. Titles and music then give the finishing touch to an extremely effective video for your website or DVD.

If you would like to communicate with deaf or hearing impaired people, then we can also provide an experienced British Sign Language presenter. Like all our presenters, the sign language presenter can be placed over any existing video or image or can appear as a video online presenter on your website

Normally a presenter is filmed on location explaining the action and doing interviews, and in many cases this still is the only but more expensive option. However, as the Presenter Video is made in the studio, the costs can be far less. This is particularly advantageous if you already have existing video that would benefit from being upgraded by having a presenter. You don’t even need a video backdrop; you can choose one of our virtual news studios, a still image or an animation, or of course, provide your own images/video of your premises, products and services or anything else.

Our presenters: We offer a variety of male, female, child and foreign language presenters plus an experienced British Sign Language presenter for deaf people and those with hearing impairment.
The presenter can be positioned anywhere on your website in full body or half body. When we send you the video, we’ll also include a small piece of code to embed in your site together with some simple instructions, but if you have any problems, just contact us and we’ll talk you through it.

Who supplies the background videos, animations, images etc?
We have a selection of videos, animations and images that you can choose from including high quality aerial video clips of Cornwall. We can also film specific scenes for you, or you can supply your own video or images.

Do we need to supply a script?
You can supply your own script, or we can produce one for you.

How long does it take to get our finished video?
Obviously this depends entirely on your requirements but is normally anything from a couple of days to several weeks.

Can we have our video on DVD?
Yes. All videos are DVD quality, and with our fast duplication service, we can supply any number of additional copies – ideal for exhibitions and mailers.

Can we specify the gender and age range of the presenter?
Yes. We offer both male and female presenters and can normally source most age groups including children.

Are there any limitations for child presenters?
Yes. Obviously there are some products and services that would be inappropriate or illegal for a child to present. We will advise you accordingly.

Can we choose how the presenters are dressed and are there any costume options?
Yes and yes! By default, the adult presenters will be dressed in typical business clothing, however you can specify other types of clothing such as jeans, tee shirts, overalls etc. Specific costumes, Father Christmas, uniforms or chefs for example, can also be supplied, just let us know what you have in mind. Specific clothing and costume requests are chargeable extras.

Can you provide foreign speaking presenters?
Yes. We can supply a number of different foreign nationals who will deliver your script in their native tongue. We also offer a script translation service.

What is the duration of the video?
Web video promos are normally around one minute each but it really depends on the subject matter. Typical durations range from five to twenty minutes. For videos going on YouTube, there is a ten minute limit but longer videos can be split into sections to overcome this.

Can you help us put the video on our website?
In most cases yes.

Some website videos keep stopping and starting. What causes this and will it happen to our video?
This effect is called ‘buffering’. Your computer starts playing the video as it downloads from the internet, however, sometimes the download isn’t fast enough and playback is interrupted until the next section has been downloaded and so on. Once the video has fully downloaded, you can press play again and the video should play without pausing. The degree of buffering, if any, is mainly affected by the speed of the internet connection and how busy the web server is. Fast broadband connections have fewer buffering problems. Streaming video can drastically reduce and in some cases eliminate the effects of buffering, but because the video has to be hosted on a streaming server, additional costs are involved.
