Celebrating Age and Ambition

In October 2009 Age Concern Cornwall in partnership with the Primary Care Trust Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and other organisations staged an event at Kingsley Village in Fraddon. It was decided in the early days of planning that it would be a good idea to have a video made of the entire day.

The event consisted of a question time in the morning, with a panel of four all of whom had a major interest in the well being of the older generation in Cornwall and an audience of over 100, and in the afternoon entertainment, exhibition stands, and advice and information would be staged in the large basement room of the venue.

We approached Heartland Productions to see if they would be prepared to do the video, having no experience in this field we were totally at a loss to know where to start! Heartland could not have been more helpful, and the result is a brilliant video which captures the emotion, feel and success of the event.

Nothing has been too much trouble for Rob and his team and we have also had so much fun in preparing the video. We have no hesitation in recommending Heartland Productions to those who are thinking of having a video made, especially if like us they have no experience.

Over 800 people visited the event, and the planning is already underway for one in October 2010, and of course Heartland will be filming the day for us.
